One of Network World’s Start-ups to Watch was watched by InnerWireless, which apparently liked what it saw: The two companies are merging.

PanGo Networks markets 802.11-based wireless location and asset tracking hardware and software. InnerWireless offers a radio frequency distribution and management system in which a single set of antennas in the ceiling delivers a range of wireless signals through the enterprise, including cellular, wireless LAN, passive RFID and paging.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The joint statement says PanGo investors have joined with InnerWireless investors to provide an undisclosed amount of additional funding. PanGo founder Michael Campbell will serve as senior vice president for location services in the merged company.
